Eng. Haitham El- Kafrawy, Teacher Assistant of Structure Analysis stressed the long-standing strategic ties bonding Egypt and the United Arab of Emirates at all levels. He hailed the two states’ political leadership of President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi and his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for their insightfulness and their progress towards a more concerted approach to peace and stability in the region.
In light of the recent whirlwind visit of UAE’s Al Nahyan to Egypt on Wednesday, Kafrawy underlined during an interview on (The Daily Debate) the importance of two heads’ agreement on continuing joint confrontation against threats to the region’s security. He believed that such a move safeguards the peoples’ right to live a prosperous life, away from terrorism and fanaticism.
Highlighting the two countries’ objectives for their national sake, he said that Egypt is rich with human resources and expertise and likewise is the UAE which acknowledged Egypt’s quantum leap throughout the last 6 years in various fronts; economy, infrastructure, education and so forth. So, he added, both pledged to cooperate to iron out all economic and political problems in the region. In that regard, he lauded Bin Zayed as a strategic person who accords top priority to overhauling his country and strengthening ties with his neighboring countries.
Commenting on UAE’s new observatory position in the Cairo-based Eastern Mediterranean Gas Forum, Kafrawy reassured its pivotal role in stabilizing the region in collaboration with Egypt which jumped a leap in the energy field, remarking on common sense of the two countries’ peoples towards their nations and how great their role to play in support to their governments to maintain peace, stability and security.
