Dr. Làszlo Palkovics, Minister of Technology and Industry of Hungary stressed the long-standing bilateral relations and cooperation with Egypt on many domains and hailed Egypt’s hosting of the UN Climate Change Conference which underlines its keenness on mobilizing all parties for urgent concerted action against climate change. Technology is essential to make breakthroughs, he said, lauding Egypt’s quantum leap in that regard.
During an interview with Nile TV International on the sidelines of the COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh on 6-18 November, he praised Egypt’s vital role in Africa due to its relentless efforts to be a leading partner towards sustainable development goals. He asserted that Egypt is geographically promising in the future and always attaching high importance to green economy, renewable energy and digitalization which prove that it is on the right track.
For his part, he believed that Egypt has the best opportunities providing tremendous incentives for enhancing investment and industry, referring to its policy with Hungary in particular and hoping for more collaboration in green hydrogen. It is a COP of opportunities in all realms, he concluded, hailing Egypt’s progress in education. He finally believed in Youth potential in driving the better future.
