Dr. Heba Zahran, Tourism Expert, said that Egypt is prepared to host the COP27 climate Change Conference, with the attendance of many world leaders, adding that the success of the conference reflects Egypt's success in its development strategies.
Dr. Zahran mentioned, during an interview with the (Money Means Business) that Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly visited Sharm El-Sheikh to follow up the implementation of many new projects before the beginning of the conference.
She added that the city of Sharm El-Sheikh has turned into a green sustainable city, with all the accommodations and infrastructure necessary for the COP27 nearly finalized.
She stressed Egypt's keenness to protect the environment through using renewable energy resources that do not pollute the environment.
Further, she pointed out that the conference will attract visitors, as well as investors to Egypt, adding that what is happening in the world as the Russian-Ukrainian war as well as floods and natural disasters have made Egypt a safe destination for tourists.
She noted that the government aims to increase tourism revenues to $30 bln, through attracting more foreign tourists as well as the domestic tourists.
