Researcher highlights Azhar's role in enhancing Islamic unity

Ugandan Researcher at Al-Azhar University, said that Al-Azhar plays a pivotal role in enhancing unity among Muslims from different continents

Shabira Nakizito, Ugandan Researcher at Al-Azhar University, said that Al-Azhar plays a pivotal role in enhancing unity and harmony among Muslims from different continents.

Nakizito, mentioned, during an interview with (Nile Cruise) program, that she enjoyed staying in Egypt during Eid Al-Adha where she spent her day praying, eating and having fun with her colleagues from Africa and Asia.

She pointed out that she is amazed by the history and culture of Egypt and she enjoyed visiting the different touristic sites.

She stressed the importance of the Quran for every Muslim, adding that memorizing the Quran is not a hard task, it can be done by memorizing few verses daily.

She finally called on every Muslim student from any country, who wants to know more about his religion and to understand the Quran, to join Al-Azhar University.
