Sports analyst Abdel Azizi Abo Hammar said that the English newspapers are boastful of the superstar Muhammad Salah after his new record in San Siro. He is proud of Mo Salah as he scored 113 goals in the Premier League and 40 goals in the UEFA Champions League in all rounds. He also scored 35 goals in the Italy League and much more with total goals of 271 in his career, he added.
Over the phone to (Cairo Local Time), he explained that the English media is very proud of him as he achieved two records, the first one when he scored eight times in away matches in the UEFA Champions League. He is hence one step closer to Cristiano Ronaldo who holds this record with 12 matches. The second surprise, Hammar highlighted, is when Mo Salah equalled another record after scoring Liverpool’s second goal in their win over Inter Milan in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie, and thus he equalled Peter Crouch in 2010.
Further, he spoke about his belief that Salah has a sympathetic personality and is very in touch with his fans. He also has a good mentality and is a good planner with great perseverance, the analyst added, concluding with a fact of the chemistry he found with his English team and the deep love by his fans there.
(Cairo Local Time) is aired from Saturday to Thursday. This episode is presented by Engy Maher
