Analyst proud of medals awarded to Egyptian paralympics

Sports analyst Hazem El Iskandarani lauded Egyptian paralympic heroes for their success in achieving four silver medals and two bronze ones

Sports analyst Hazem El Iskandarani lauded Egyptian paralympic heroes for their success in achieving four silver medals and two bronze ones. He acknowledged the fact, as proven by our heroes who are of different ages, that age is a mere number.

Over the phone to (Breakfast Show), he hailed the 47-year-old legend Fatma Omar as nobody was able to break her record. She and her fellows proved successful despite their old age, he added. The Paralympic weightlifter has great achievements as she managed to grab her sixth medal in Tokyo 2020 after participating in London, Beijing, Athens, Sydney and Rio. She became a sports idol for all the youth, he highlighted.

The analyst also praised Sherif Othman who won the silver medal in the competition of weight 59 kilograms. He is an ambitious hero who is keen to clinch medals and wants to participate with his personal experience in developing the conditions of the players in the Paralympic games. Othman cried when he achieved the silver medal as he hoped it was the golden one, he added.

Iskandarani mentioned the Egyptian champion Rehab Radwan who also won a silver medal in the weight of 50 kilograms, and Mohamed Sobhy who won the Bronze medal in the 80 kilogram competition. There comes also Mahmoud Sabry who achieved the silver medal in the 72 kilogram competition, he illustrated proudly.

He stated that Egyptian Paralympian Ibrahim Hamadtou, who represents the country in the Table Tennis game, is the icon of determination, of will, of values, of manners and of challenge. Reaching this point, he praised him as a special hero who lost his two arms when he was ten but is still keen to excel in ping pong playing it with his mouth and playing the serve start with his foot, which is something like a fiction for many people, if they didn’t see it they wouldn’t have believed it. The movement of his head and the flexibility of his neck and his body are hard to believe, for the ping pong game means a lot of high pace as it is a speedy sport, being the only player in the world who plays with his mouth in the Paralympics, Iskandarani concluded.

(Breakfast Show) is aired daily. This episode is presented by Nermeen Abdel Rahman
