Sports Analyst Hazem El Askandarani said that The Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 is going to start on Tuesday, admitting that in the Rio 2016 Paralympics Egypt had achieved 12 medals.
Over the phone to (Breakfast Show), he clarified that the Egyptian mission is participating with 49 male and female players, representing 8 different games, which are weightlifting, swimming, table tennis, athletics, badminton, sitting volleyball, Para Taekwondo, and women’s goalball.
He elaborated that two icons will carry the Egyptian flag on the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games: Fatma Omar and Sherif Othman, the two legends who had participated before and broke records in weightlifting.
Askandarani hailed President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi for his support and aid to those with special needs. The media also praises those champions which give them a big push and hope to excel, he concluded.
