Dr. Hamaqi:"Decent Life" real benefit of economic reform

Dr. Yomn Hamaqi, Professor of Economics, said that the "Decent Life" Initiative is  one of the benefits of the economic reform that is taking place in Egypt

Dr. Yomn Hamaqi, Professor of Economics, said that the "Decent Life" Initiative is  one of the benefits of the economic reform that is taking place in Egypt.

Dr. Hamaqi mentioned, during a phone conversation with (Arab Affairs) program, that the "Decent Life" Initiative aims at developing the infrastructure, health and education services in rural villages.

She added that the initiative includes improving industry, agriculture and information technology within rural communities to achieve economic empowerment.

She pointed out that President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi attended the first conference of the "Decent Life " Initiative with the participation of thousands of Egyptians from various governorates.

She  declared that the teams responsible for  the initiative specify the needs and the resources of every village to improve production and create job opportunities in each village.

She finally stressed that the "Decent Life" Initiative is the first step to eradicate poverty and illiteracy from Egyptian villages and to improve the quality of life there.
