Ambassador Gamal Bayoumi, Former Assistant Foreign Minister, said that Egypt and Saudi Arabia share very strong and distinguished relations at all levels.
Ambassador Bayoumi mentioned, during a phone conversation with (Arab Affairs) program, that the recent visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman and his meeting with President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi in Sharm El Sheikh Resort reflects the continuous consultations between the two leaders on various regional and international issues.
He added that the meeting sent messages to the parallel meeting of the G7 group about Arab views on the developments of the Palestinian Cause and other Arab files.
The ambassador pointed out that Egypt and Saudi Arabia are committed to combating terrorism and organized crimes, aiming at making the Middle East a safer region.
He finally stressed that Saudi Arabia is one of the most important investors in Egypt and that both countries are keen for more cooperation in various fields.
