Tourism Expert Ahmed Salama said that the “Enjoy your winter in Egypt” initiative aims at reviving the tourism sector

Tourism Expert Ahmed Salama said that the “Enjoy your winter in Egypt” initiative aims at reviving the tourism sector after its recession as a result of the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.

Salama mentioned, during an interview with (Nile Cruise) program, that the initiative was launched by the Ministry of Tourism and the ministry of Aviation to attract tourists especially domestic ones.

He added that the initiative includes discounts on  flights, hotels , as well as organizing trips from Cairo and Alexandria to Luxor and Aswan, and from Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Marsa Alam.

He pointed that the good weather as well as the mid-year vacation make this time of the year a good opportunity for domestic travels.

Salama finally stressed the importance of social media to share information about this initiative and facilitate the contacts between customers and travel agents.
