Holy family flight path sites in Egypt

 Dr. Adel El Gendy, director of the International Relations and Strategic Planning and national coordinator for the project of the holy family, underlined the importance of the flight of the holy family to Egypt.

Over his voice on (Breakfast Show), Dr. Gendy highlighted the importance of the first stop of Egypt’s holy family root project inaugurated in the delta town of Samannoude.

According to the Gospel of Matthew, Dr. Gendy assured that the holy family fled to Egypt from the aggressive Jewish king Herodos, so they left Bethlehem and fled to Egypt.

In the same context, he emphasized that the journey of the holy family in Egypt started by El Delta, Cairo, then to the western of Wadi el Natrun, Assuit and El Menya.

In that regard, he emphasized that the holy family stayed for more than 3 years and half in Egypt passed by 25 stop points.

Shedding more light on the journey of the holy family, he said that it is an adventurous story, that they flee to Egypt on a donkey, then they hide in a cave, and escape to the desert.

About the recent development for the route of the holy family in Egypt, he stated that they work hard in renovation of the area which was surrounding the journey route, he added, highlighting that they promised that within this month, they well accomplished all 25 stock points.

Finally, he said that Egypt translated the journey of the holy family not only to a religious story but also to a touristic project. He declared that Egypt presented this project as a gift to all humanity.
