Shedding light on ancient Egyptian history, Nile TV International made a tour to know more about the old Egyptian traditions. She asserted that the ancient Egyptian was not only care about the religious sides but he cared also about joy and laughter.
In a new episode of (Tour in Egypt), Deena Yunis clarified that by nature the ancient Egyptian was a lover of joy, a fun seeker and also a merry man. Highlighting the optimistic life of ancient Egypt, Deena referred to numerous evidences; picturing festivals, dancing, singing and playing music.
She said that festivals in ancient Egypt were numerous and celebrated for various reasons. She pointed out that the religious festivals started with the beginning of ancient Egyptian history, adding that among the famous festivals that ancient Egyptian had celebrated is the flood feast.
On this tour, Deena elucidated that the most important festival in Thebes was the Opet festival and its scenes are recorded on the walls of Luxor temple and Karnak temple.
At the end of the Nile TV’s tour, Deena mentioned some famous ancient Egyptian festivals as the deceased festivals of Isis and Osiris.
