Dr Magdy Adly, Senior inspector in health insurance authority shed paid tribute to the political leadership for exerting colossal efforts to improve population health, especially to combat the outbreak of the global COVID 19. The Egyptian government proved successful in that regard to agree with the vaccine alliance, GAVI (The Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization).

Over his voice on (Breakfast Show), he highlighted that the two Ministries of Finance and Health were mandated by the Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli to make deals with companies to allocate initially 20 million doses of the vaccines to be distributed for free in Egypt.

As for the effectiveness of the vaccine, he illustrated various versions and accordingly it will vary from a person to another and how it produces antibodies to help the immune system to fight the virus. Further, he asserted they will decrease the number of infected cases and hospitalized people.

In the same context, he emphasized that precautionary measures are still imperative beside the vaccines which are not magic solutions.
