Human development expert Dr. Amira El Masry asserted the pressing need for everybody to have a break especially children because when parents give them their time, they will be easier to communicate with. The three-month summer vacation have to be divided as it suits everyone whether financially or practically, but it should fulfil the child’s interests and needs, however parents have to give their children time to relax and disconnect from all worries, she highlighted.
In her interview with (Breakfast Show), she advises parents to unite with their kids and their family and make sure they enjoy the simplest things because it is the duty of adults.
Dr. Amira pinpointed the fact that one of the major things we lack in our community is management skills especially time management, so we should not postpone everything to the summer vacation.
Moreover, we lack the places where all the family can go out, she continued, such as family parks, instead there are “cafes” where children don’t belong to them.
Finally, she calls for business men to create places of activities where children can play, be trained and get their energy out.
