Dr. Walaa Abdel Karim, Chairman of “Decent Life” Unit, Ministry of Local Development, said that the initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi.
Dr. Walaa Abdel Karim, Chairman of “Decent Life” Unit, Ministry of Local Development, said that the initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi would make a positive change in rural areas.
Dr. Abdel Karim mentioned, during a phone conversation with the daily program (Breakfast Show), that the initiative targets the needs of many Egyptian villages in many fields especially health and education.
He added that it concentrates mainly on the improvement of the infra-structure of villages, providing them with electricity, clear water and also with sanitation and communication services.
He pointed that Non-governmental organizations and the private sector will participate with the government in implementing the initiative.
He stressed that the initiative is a comprehensive plan to develop the villages economically as well as socially by helping the youth through training sessions to be competitive and preparing them for the labor market.
He finally declared that the initiative will help rural communities to improve their standard of living and will provide job opportunities to the youth there.
