Former Plenipotentiary Trade Minister Ayoub Mahmoud Ayoub said that the Industrial Forum, launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, stresses the role of industry in developing and improving the Egyptian economy.
Ayoub mentioned, during a phone conversation with (Arab Affairs) program, that the forum was attended by Egyptian, Arab and foreign investors, representatives of regional and international institutions and many businessmen.
He added that the forum aims to encourage production, increase exports and reduce imports to invigorate the Egyptian economy.
He pointed out that opening new factories will provide more job opportunities and help the economy to achieve self-sufficiency in many products.
Further, he declared that Egypt's big population makes the country a good market for the local products, and the African and Arab markets are welcoming the Egyptian products.
