Dr. Amira Sabek, Strategic Management and Self Development Expert, said that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are crucial for achieving women empowerment and improving the social and economic conditions of women.
Dr. Sabek mentioned, during a phone conversation with the daily program (Breakfast Show), that the COMESA organization is a platform for developing the quality of life of SMEs women owners in Africa .
She reiterated that SMEs improve the national economy of many countries and provide job opportunities mainly for women and youth.
She added that these projects help women to develop themselves and add to their resilience and persistence and make them effective in their societies.
She stressed that Egyptian women are an added value to any place in which they work, they develop their skills through studying , training and participating in national and international forums and conferences.
She finally pointed out that SMEs help in achieving gender equality and leveraging the economic and social status of women.
