Ambassador Mohamed El Shazly, Former Assistant to the Foreign Minister said that the volatile situation in the region needs complete Arab cooperation and consultation.
Amb. Shazly mentioned, during a phone conversation with the daily program (Breakfast Show), that President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi received a phone call from King Abdullah II of Jordan to discuss the recent developments in the region.
He added that both leaders were concerned about the situation in Jerusalem especially after the Israeli forces storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and killing and terrorizing civilian Palestinians.
He declared that Jordan is responsible for Islamic endowments in Palestine and among them Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He pointed out that the two leaders also discussed the volatile international situation which resulted from the Russian-Ukrainian war, which had a great impact on the Arab World because both Russia and Ukraine are the main exporters of grains to the Arab countries.
He finally stressed the importance of Arab cooperation to guard their interests and be prepared for any political and economic developments.
