Ambassador Gamal Bayoumi, Former Assistant Foreign Minister, said that the International Community is not doing enough to solve the Palestinian Cause although some organizations as the European Union and the UNRWA are helping the Palestinians to continue living.
Amb. Bayoumi mentioned, during a phone conversation with (Arab Affairs) program, that the meeting that took place between President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi and the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the sidelines of the World Youth Forum stresses Egypt's steadfast support for the Palestinians.
He added that Egypt is keen to revive the stalled peace process and end the Israeli occupation to Arab territories in Palestine and Golan Heights.
He pointed out that even the United States, Israel's strongest ally, is convinced that the two-state solution is the only solution to the Middle East crisis.
He affirmed that Israel has no future if it continues with its aggressive policies as expanding settlements in the Palestinian territories and killing innocent civilians.
He finally declared that Egypt will continue its reconciliation efforts to unite different Palestinian factions as well as its efforts to reconstruct Gaza.
