Participant in the World Youth Forum (WYF) Mohammad el Seidy lauded the motto of its 4th edition, “Arts and culture are part of development and a human right”

Participant in the World Youth Forum (WYF) Mohammad el Seidy lauded the motto of its 4th edition, “Arts and culture are part of development and a human right”. He stated that we share our culture, our various backgrounds, our experiences and our expertise.

Over the phone to (Breakfast Show), he shed light on the numerous workshops which started on Saturday in relation to  the sustainable development goals, focusing on the effects of the Covid19 pandemic. Further, he referred to other  workshops on how to promote the source of clean energy by preserving our climate, how to develop technological exchange between developing and developed countries in the field of civil aviation emissions in specific, etc.

In that respect, he argued that there should be an international effort when it comes to clean energy. We have to preserve the planet with shared efforts and participating with others, he said.

He spoke about the impressions of world youth on Egypt as it is a hub for sharing knowledge, communication and connection and creating a network of young people who will work together to give the world new challenges. The WYF is a source of inspiration to hundreds of youth to be the ambassadors for Egypt worldwide with their vital role in spreading awareness among all sects of the society, he reassured.

Saedi also hailed the political leadership who is keen to communicate with the youth and to empower them as they are the hope and the future for our nation and to the whole world. The president believes that the youth are the major engine of Egypt.

He mentioned the precautions and preventive measures taken: every participant should submit a PCR in addition to social distancing and other measures which must be followed strictly.

A workshop will also be held to discuss the Egyptian experience in human development via its initiative Haya Karima. A simulation model of the United Nations Human Rights Council will also be held, as well as WYF LABS.
