General Hamdy Bekheet, Military Analyst, said that Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) is considered the main pillar of military industries in the region.
Gen. Bekheet, mentioned, during his interview with the daily program (Breakfast Show), that EDEX in its second edition has expanded to reach more than 400 exhibitors from 42 countries.
He declared that many ministers of defence, military delegations and more than 30,000 visitors attended the exhibition.
Bekheet added that the exhibition displays the latest technologies in the field of defense and military production.
He pointed out that Egypt's successful organization to EDEX as well as organizing joint training with other countries reflect its growing military capabilities.
He finally stressed that the exhibition is a good opportunity for cooperation between Egypt and world countries in the military field.
