Ambassador Gamal Bayoumi, Former Assistant Foreign Minister, said that Egypt has the political will to solve Arab crises in Syria and Lebanon as it helped in solving them in Libya and Sudan.
Amb. Bayoumi mentioned, during a phone conversation with (Arab Affairs) program, that Libyan Interim Prime Minister Abdel-Hamid Dbeibah stressed during his visit to Egypt the importance of Egypt's role for the stability of the whole region.
He praised the efforts of both countries to hold the Egyptian-Libyan Higher Committee that convened after a 12-year halt.
He declared that many agreements and memorandums of cooperation were signed during Dbeibah's visit to Cairo that will enable Egyptian companies to help in the reconstruction process in Libya.
He finally stressed that the Egyptian companies will implement many projects in Libya in the fields of transport, infrastructure, energy, sports and education.
