Premier in Libya asserts Egypt’s sustainable cooperation

Hassan Wagieh, Prof. of Political Science, Cairo University stressed the significance of the premier’s visit to Libya, the first time for over ten years, underlining that Egypt is keen on backing its neighboring countries to maintain stability in the region and supports Libyan Government of National Unity for political settlement and successful process for reconstruction in the country.

Over his voice on (Cairo Local Time), he hailed such a state visit paid by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli accompanied by eleven ministers from all sectors to Libya's capital Tripoli, lauding Egypt’s historic role in settling the Arab causes. In the face of daunting challenges Libya had been long plunged into, he said, Egypt sustained all means of cooperation to help Libya regain stability.

In the same context, Wagieh reaffirmed that ensuring the border of the country is pivotal, regretting any sort of foreign intervention and mercenaries against a sovereign state. All of these destabilize the process towards security and peace, he concluded.
