Journalist Amira Sayed attached great importance to the “Saudi Green Initiative” as well as “Green Middle East”. She underlined the prominence of such initiatives to address the most daunting global challenges of climate change and carbon emissions and their negative impacts on diverse aspects.
Over the phone with (Breakfast), she asserted that such a nature-based approach initiated by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is paramount to protect our life. The initiatives incorporate plantation of 10 billion trees in the kingdom and then extend to upscale to 50 billion in the region, she highlighted, reassuring that they will contribute to curb pollution, land degradation and desertification.
In the same context, she reiterated that the Crown Prince’s vision is timely and significant in line with Egypt’s vision 2030 and a promising step forward to make all Arab countries follow suit in order to cooperate together for promoting clean energy and ecosystems, and so boosting investment in the region.
