Roads expert Dr. Hassan Mahdy said that President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi had inspected a number of roads including the Shinzo Abe access east of Cairo in addition to other axes and the Middle Ring Road. These projects are concerned with sustainable development projects, he illustrated.
Over the phone to (Cairo Local Time), he commented that those corridors will enhance the traffic mobility inside Cairo and eliminate the delay time people face daily because of the crowded roads, moreover they will reduce the environmental pollution emitted from traffic jammed roads. Thus, he said, the drive quality inside Greater Cairo would be enhanced.
Dr Mahdy added that the Monorail and the electric train are great added values to developing transportation in Egypt. Those projects are linked to the development of urban areas to other sustainable development projects, he reassured, and they pour into the development of the Egyptian economy. These linkages have great input on the economy as well as the projects of the reclamation of the desert and building new cities, he reaffirmed.
