Ambassador Gamal Bayoumi, Former Assistance to Foreign Minister
Ambassador Gamal Bayoumi, Former Assistance to Foreign Minister, asserted on historical deep-ties Egypt has with United Arab Emirates, its vital partner in many causes of mutual concern in the region. He lauded Sisi’s clever policy and active diplomacy for maintaining such relations and supplement to its highest level of cooperation in many domains.
Over his voice on Nile TV International, he acknowledged the fact that our foreign policy has been beefed up since Sisi took office 2014. In recognition and appreciation of Sisi’s pivotal role, Sisi was awarded the Order of Zayed, the UAE’s highest civil decoration, he illustrated.
The ambassador also pointed out that Egypt’s excellent relation with UAE deems as a role model for all neighboring countries which, he said, should know well “Egypt is always ready for better cooperation in all fields”. He anticipated a prosperous future on the horizon between “the highest team” bonding Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi arrived in the UAE on Wednesday for a 2-day visit for talks on means of boosting bilateralhistorical ties. He was received at the Abu Dhabi International Airport by Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sisi was accompanied by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Planning Minister Hala el Saeed and Head of the Intelligence Service Abbas Kamel.
