In line with empowering women’s role in society, Dr. Amal Ibrahim, Head of the Arab Women Festival for Creativity lauded a host of female role models from 12 Arab countries for their great efforts to find their niche in life and excel in their jobs as well as their initiatives in purpose to achieve development in all domains.

On the sidelines of the Arab Women Festival for Creativity held recently on its 4^th round, Dr. Ibrahim underlined prominent importance of such event to honor prominent females and to contest for the best eight initiatives among eighty ones in the field of creativity for development in different fields.

In that regard, she declared that the event in the next year will focus on means of boosting the female works of handicrafts to enjoy a wide-margin of professionalism in such domain.

Likewise, Nout Elzeny, Instructor at American University in Cairo maintained that it is so great opportunity that different types of female figures attend such an event to exchange their diverse experiences and highlight the role of Arab woman to open the way more for her stories of fast-track success.

 Amid a great sense of keenness on protecting environment, it is reported that “Its color is green, together against desertification to confront climate change” deemed the title of the festival initiative. For her part, one of the honored women, Syrian writer Reem Shoteh acknowledged the fact of powerful potential of women in contributing to evolution of knowledge and economic progress.

Among the honored female figures were Head of Nile TV International Taghreed Hussein, Salwa Abdullah Kassem from Bahrain and Palestinian singer Abeer Sansour.
