Development of Sinai only way to prevent terrorism

Dr. Al Sadik Abdel Rahman, Professor of Development Projects, Helwan University, said that development is the only way to prevent terrorism in Sinai.

Dr. Abdel Rahman mentioned, during a phone conversation with the (Cairo Local Time ) program, that the development in Sinai is important for Egypt's economy and national security.

He added that development projects attract more Egyptians to settle in Sinai and also create job opportunities.

He pointed out that the government allocated billions for development projects in Sinai such as tunnels,  bridges, roads, networks and infrastructure projects.

He finally asserted that the government also is keen to provide better services for the residents of Sinai, especially in the fields of education and health.
