Dr. Tharwat Wahba hailed President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi’s attendance of the Coptic Christmas mass in the Cathedral
Professor in the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo Dr. Tharwat Wahba hailed President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi’s attendance of the Coptic Christmas mass in the Cathedral and thanked the president for his keenness on that in addition to the normal persons who came to join their fellow brothers in celebrating the feast.
Over the phone to (Cairo Local Time), he said that Egypt is a very unique country with the unity between Christians and Moslems and we witness this unity all the time.
He added that such an act represents the faith and love we have in each other and in the unity of our country. There is a mutual respect and sharing as we grow up in our schools and in all aspects of life, he reassured.
He stated that Egypt is a role model to the world as it represents this kind of unity. There is solidarity between the two religions not only in happy occasions but also at all times: in peace and hardships, Wahba concluded, commending that Egypt sets a great example for a peaceful mode of a tolerant country.
