Nawar: G7 agenda contributes to research, development

Economist Dr. Zeinab Nawar stressed the strong outcome of the G7 Summit and the consequences of the pandemic on the world, expressing the hope that the G7 can deliver what they promised in dealing with the crisis and providing further support especially for the poorer countries.

Hosted by (Breakfast Show), she elaborated the G7 aims to build back better from the corona virus by leading the global recovery from the pandemic while strengthening resilience against future pandemics. 

She shed light on the importance of distributing vaccines to all countries worldwide as without healthy people there is neither economy nor development, hoping that the G7 countries support developing ones in the production of the vaccine which guarantees the sustainability of this type of aid. She also believes that supporting research and development in poor countries is the most important step.

Dr. Nawar clarified that the investment in the health sector and drug manufacturing is the first priority nowadays. 

She also mentioned climate change and the role of the big counties in such disasters as well as their role in fixing the problem.

Furthermore, she underscored the role of digitalization, the cyber protection and the digital economy stressing the point of this new type of trade among countries and dealing with cyber protections and the new type of business which is the business online system focusing that Egypt has to benefit from all these type of new changes and strategies worldwide.

She substantiated the power of knowledge and information as they are much better than the nuclear and the military power now leading to the change of allies and powers of the world.
