In celebration of the 69th Police Day, Former Assistant to the Foreign Minister Hussein Hareedy attached great importance to the January revolution, offering his sincere condolences to the families of those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s welfare. On its 10th anniversary, January 25th marks a jump leap for an era of freedom, democracy and the rule of law which paved the way for security and stability and then for sustainable development, he highlighted.
During a phone interview on (Panorama), he said that all Egyptians shared such a memorable event with sorrow and in honor to those who fell in the last 10 years defending Egypt and regaining its pioneering role in the region.
“Terrorism is a regional and international phenomenon”, he asserted, indicating that Egypt witnessed challenging conditions since the last quarter of 20th century, but since President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi assumed power, Egypt began to attain unprecedented development at all levels.
The ambassador's comment came in light of President Sisi’s speech to the nation at the ceremony in honor of the Police and their great role to defend their country and secure their people.
The phone interview comes within Nile TV’s (Panorama) and is presented by Hala El Hamalawy.
