Dr Youmna El Hamaki sounded a wake-up call that the Russian invasion of Ukraine will affect the global economy which started to boom since the outbreak of Pandemic Covid-19. She said that the action of imposing sanctions on Russia will not only have negative effects on the flaws of gas Russia provides Europe with approximately 40% of their needs but also have bad impacts on both sides.

Over her voice on (Breakfast), she declared that negotiations are the best way to settle the crisis as Europe will take some more time to replace sources of flows of gas from Russia with others from other countries. She regretted that even if Russia replaced the west with China, Asia and Latin America for compensation of such sanctions, all parties would lose.

Upon hearing the threats of using nuclear power in such a war, she deplored that there is going to be a volatile stock market which will hardly regain for the coming period unless there is a solution through a negotiations table.  

The Russian invasion sent a message that Russia is not going to be jeopardized by NATO anymore and that new powers of new economic order other than the United States are about to dominate the world. Russian President Vladimir Putin is quite determined to reach his goal, she expressed her belief. 

Despite the fact that Ukraine is one of the richest countries of natural resources, it faces nowadays a very terrible situation economically and politically, she ended up concluding.
