Amb Mahmoud hails openness for glorious Koubbeh Palace to visitors

Former Minister plenipotentiary Ayoub Mahmoud stressed Egypt’s prestigious history embodied in Koubbeh Presidential Palace

Shedding light on one of the largest Royal Palaces in Egypt, Former Minister plenipotentiary Ayoub Mahmoud stressed Egypt’s prestigious history embodied in Koubbeh Presidential Palace officially inaugurated in January 1873. He considered it as glorious and a source of pride to show to the whole world, referring to President Abdel Fattah e-Sisi’s directives to open the palace to visitors.

During (Exclusive), Mahmoud lauded the valuable eras of Egypt’s modern history and Egyptian influential figures worldwide such as King Farouk of Egypt. He commended the state’s keenness to glorify the past and to create a better future. The palace displays tremendous royal collectibles as well as two museums; Koubbeh Palace Vehicle Museum and Koubbeh Palace Museum, he stated.


 

Likewise, Engineer Bahaa Tahseen deemed Sisi’s announcement a great opportunity to enlighten the coming generations about Egypt’s glory in the past and how to connect it with the present.

Also, Former Minister of Oil Abdullah Ghorab confirmed that history is the roots of the country and that every deep-rooted part in the palace denotes intact Egyptian identity in the face of any devilish attempts to tear through national unity.



 

In another interview on the sidelines of a tour of the palace, General Mostafa Hadhoud, Former Governor of Beheira reassured that the green landscape in the palace and all its collectibles are stunning and pointed out that the New Administrative Capital will also feature similar innovative and state-of-the-art elements in the governmental buildings and Parliament.



 

In the same context, organizers Maha e-Sherif and Wafaa Gogary gave our leadership credit for preservation and protection of our culture and civilization embodied in the presidential palaces which showcase the greatness of Egypt’s crafters and builders who capitalized on world arts to merge with Egyptian ones in a very local artisan skills. Aroma of history and a touch of modernization were key features distinguishing every part in our palaces and museums, e-Sherif said.
