Tourism expert Dr. Sameh Saad underlined the significance of the visit paid by Prince of Wales Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, to Egypt though it was short notice. As soon as England lifted its ban on Egypt two months ago, the office of the prince communicated with Cairo for arrangements.
Over the phone to (Cairo Local Time), he assured that the visit is a great chance for marketing Egypt. Their photos by the pyramids and the Sphinx served as an advertisement and gave a positive message to the world.
He added that their highness toured different locations around the country which helps in aborting any negative media about Egypt; it is a meaningful message on tourism. Egypt is a destination for major global actors and dignitaries, he reassured, and the visit paves the way for more tourists around the globe despite the coronavirus.
As it is not his first visit to Egypt, the prince expressed his deep love for the country and hailed the latest achievements that Egypt has attained, Dr.Saad concluded.
