Hossam Ed-Deen Allam, Lecturer, Al Azhar University, said that Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam, thus the pilgrim must learn the rituals of Hajj through books or lectures in order to perform it correctly and gain God's forgiveness and blessing.

Allam mentioned, during a new episode of (The Revelation) program, that there are some etiquettes that pilgrims must follow during performing Hajj in order to gain the great rewards of that unique worship.

He added that Hajj should not be performed by illegally gained money, such as stolen or usurious money, it has to be performed by Halal money, which is the order of God to all believers in their dealings .

He cleared that this order came in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 267 "O you who believe, spend of the good things you have earned, and of what We have brought forth for you from the earth, and do not opt for a bad thing, spending only from it, while you are not going to accept it (if such a thing is offered to you), unless you close your eyes to it, and know well that Allah is All-Independent, Ever-Praised."

He finally advised pilgrims to select the righteous company that helps them in making supplication and engaging in acts of worship and good deeds and helps them avoid acts of disobedience during Hajj.

Hajj (Annual Islamic Pilgrimage to Mecca) is a mandatory religious duty that a Muslim must perform at least once in a lifetime if he can afford that.
