Dr. Pacinthe Fahmy, Economic Expert and Former Member of Parliament, said that the “Decent Life Initiative” aims to provide a better life standard and better services for citizens especially in rural areas.
Dr. Fahmy mentioned, during an interview with the daily program (Breakfast Show), that some governorates in Egypt were neglected for decades and it’s time to give them more attention.
She declared that the governorates in Upper Egypt that were neglected are rich in history and resources and it’s time to concentrate on developing them.
She added that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the government are keen to provide better education and services and good environment for the youth who are the pillars of building our future.
Dr Fahmy stressed the importance of making youth in contact with modern technology, because it is the language of the world nowadays.
Further, she pointed out that every governorate should issue a list of requirements for its cities and villages to help in preparing a plan for its development.
She finally reiterated the importance of boosting the standard of living of the low-income groups in the villages and providing them with a decent life.
