Eng. Samir Riyadh, Economic Expert, said that the state’s plan to allocate 500 billion EGP to develop villages nationwide will have a positive impact on the villagers as well as the society as a whole.
Riyadh mentioned, during an interview with (Cairo Local Time ) program, that the villages depend mainly on agriculture but it is expected to introduce some environment-friendly industries to them.
He added that the development will decrease the immigration from villages to cities because many services, education and job opportunities will be provided for village dwellers.
He stressed the importance of encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises in the villages which will help in the overall growth of the economy.
The expert finally said that the development of villages is an investment for the future of our country, it will increase the awareness of the villagers and will involve the talented people there in the development of our country.
His insight came in the light of the latest meeting on February 9 held by president Abdel Fattah e-Sisi with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli to review the latest developments of the national project that is to develop 1500 villages to reassure that the plan is being properly executed.
