Observer Emmett Adam applauded Egypt’s hosting of such imposing delegations of leaders and eminent figures for talks on pressing challenges the whole world are suffering from, the top of which is climate change. He stressed the importance of youth participation in the gathering, in view of the fact that they are a substantial part of a promising future.
On the sidelines of the conference held in Sharm el-Sheikh, he spoke about his role in the conference where he came with his college looking at climate migrants from the global south to the global north for talks on their research and policy areas. The climate action is so huge that all the parties worldwide have to take it into consideration.
Despite his first visit to Sharm el-Sheikh, Emmett spoke about his passion for its “awesome weather and culture”. He extended his hope for positive impacts of the conference on its land. When asked about a message to tell to fellowmen in the states, he attached paramount importance to the urgency of fighting climate change, concluding that it is “relevant” to all of us, so we have to collaborate to lead a safe and healthy life.
