Dr Sheriff:Egypt merits CNN selection as tourist trap in 2021

Member of Federation of Tourist Chambers Dr.Tareq El Sheriff said that CNN has chosen Egypt as one of the top touristic places to be visited in 2021

Member of Federation of Tourist Chambers Dr. Tareq El Sheriff said that CNN has chosen Egypt as one of the top touristic places to be visited in 2021 after lifting the travel restrictions due to the COVID19.

Egypt has always been among the top destinations worldwide because of its stability and its fast growing economy, he illustrated.

Over the phone to (Cairo Local Time), he admitted that we have already taken steps to rebuild and restructure our infrastructure and we have taken advantage of the rebound; hotels are getting ready and the workers are progressing. We have to make sure, he asserted, that we are ready with all services needed for tourists and everything should be covered and is available on the platform.

He assured that Egypt has been working very hard on the infrastructure of tourism, on a solid base which extended to other governorates. The trip of the holy family comes on the priorities of the government and attracts a new kind of tourism all around the globe, El Sherif added.

He commented on the Handball Championship for men saying it conveys a great message to the world that Egypt is safe, stable and moving forward. Egypt held the event in time and didn’t postpone it, thus we are in control and we can manage. The opening ceremony was fantastic and up to other international events.

El Sheriff shed light on the Grand Egyptian Museum that will serve the tourism industry saying that Egypt is playing a great “symphony” of glory with all its discoveries, with the opening of GEM, with its economy, with the Handball World Cup and hence it is a brilliant orchestrated effort.
