Youth Champion Youssef Mohamed said that playing Badminton sport has a positive effect on the body and the mind of those who practise it.
He added, during an interview with (Nile Cruise) programme, that Badminton keeps the player active and fit, so as players require a high level of skill to perform the game effectively.
He mentioned that he won lately two medals in the Youth Championship in Jordan, praising his coach, family and friends for his achievement.
Meanwhile, the programme also hosted Youth Champion Moaaz Hisham who reiterated the importance of Badminton for health, as it improves the function of the heart and the lungs and strengthens the muscles.
He declared that he won a medal in the African Championship which was played recently in Ivory Coast.
He finally pointed that Badminton helps in increasing the concentration, which helped him excel in his studies.
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" and "doubles".
