Within the framework of its keenness on highlighting the most marvelous places in Egypt, Nile TV sheds light on one of the most charming famous city in Egypt, Alexandria.
In the Nile TV’s daily program (Breakfast Show), Deena Yunis said that Alexandria is a city of a profound and long history and had witnessed rich chapters of the Egyptian history.
She mentioned that we can start our tour in Alexandria by passing by the Unknown Soldier memorial by the sea coast, then proceed to visit the Serapeum monumental area located in Kom El Shokafa near El Managua district, which belongs to the old part of the city of Alexandria.
For more illustration, she said that the Serapeum is a temple in Karmouz that built during the reign of King Patolomy. Yunis added that Serapeum temple was built for the new cult called the religion of Cerabus.
Deena clarified that King Patolomy chose Alexandria to be the capital of Egypt, thus it became the most important center of the combination between the Egyptian and the Greek civilization.
