Shedding light on one of the mysterious periods of Egypt, Nile TV International highlighted the Islamic invasion of Egypt. Nile TV presenter Deena Yunis gives us some information about the prominent Muslim figure in the Islamic religion.

She said on Breakfast Show that Amr Ibn El As was born in courage and embraced Islam, adding that during Khalifa Omar Ibn Khattab, he appointed Amr Ibn El As as a leader of the Islamic army in Palastine and Jordan.

Moreover, she said that Khalif Omar asked Amr to advance to Egypt to invade it. Pertaining to Khalig Omar's point of view for invading Egypt, Deena said that he said that it is very necessary that it would secure the borders of Al Sham area from the Roman attacks.

Furthermore, she said that Amr Ibn El As led an army to his conquest of Egypt. Then Amr Ibn El As arrived in Egypt after crossing the desert of Sinai peninsula, that witnessed all the three religious glorious past: Islam, Judaism and Christianity. At last, she asserted that now it was time for Islam to enter Egypt through its eastern borders which is Sinai.
